One of the things that inspires me as a songwriter is an online

community which I have joined. This community is a place a

songwriter can go to sharpen their skills in their craft,

get inspiration and feedback from professionals in the

songwriting field, find a place to pitch you song,

or hang out with fellow songsmiths in a form

for encouragement.




I have been a member of this community for some time

and have formed friendships around the world with other

songwriters. I've met and collaborated with people from other

countries. I have learned as I have been challenged to

co-write songs with people I have only met online or via Skype.

We have gotten to know each other and encourage

one another as we wrote from a distance.
